Rezvanian International Vis Pre-MootThe Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot (Vis Moot) is a globally recognized competition that promotes the field of international commercial arbitration, with a particular focus on resolving legal issues in international commerce. Each year, the Vis Moot attracts law students from universities across the globe, competing to hone their skills in arbitration and advocacy.

At Rezvanian International, we are committed to advancing international arbitration and fostering the next generation of arbitration professionals. As part of our scholarly activities, we proudly organize the Rezvanian International Vis Pre-Moot. This Pre-Moot is designed to prepare students for the main Vis Moot oral hearings in Vienna and Hong Kong. We provide participants the invaluable opportunity to practice their advocacy skills, develop sound legal arguments, and engage in simulated arbitration hearings judged by experienced international practitioners.

Why Participate in the Rezvanian International Vis Pre-Moot?

Our Pre-Moot offers Vis Moot teams from around the world a platform to compete with peers and refine their legal arguments. Participants will:

  • Practice oral advocacy before panels of international legal experts.
  • Receive personalized feedback from seasoned arbitrators.
  • Enhance their understanding of the complexities of arbitration preparation.

This Pre-Moot event also serves as an opportunity for networking with other students, legal professionals, and academics involved in the international arbitration community.

General Rules

The Rezvanian International Vis Pre-Moot follows the official Vis Moot Problem and the rules established by the Vis Moot itself (Click Here). All participating teams are expected to adhere strictly to these guidelines. Teams eligible to compete must have successfully registered for the Vis Moot and be confirmed to participate in the oral rounds in Vienna or Hong Kong.

Registration

To register for the Rezvanian International Vis Pre-Moot, teams must complete the designated Registration Form and submit it to VisMoot@rezvanianinternational.com before the specified deadline each year. We kindly ask that teams commit to participation once registered, as withdrawals negatively affect the competition’s schedule.

Arbitrators

Each competing team will present its case before panels consisting of three arbitrators. Our arbitrators are handpicked from a pool of respected legal professionals, including lawyers, arbitrators, and professors from across the globe. These practitioners provide valuable feedback, helping teams strengthen their cases for the final Vis Moot competition.
