
Partner – International Arbitration & Dispute Resolution
Kamyar S. Oladi is a Partner at Rezvanian International Law Firm. His practice focuses on international and domestic arbitration, complex commercial disputes, and cross-border transactions.
Kamyar acts as counsel in ICC, ACIC and ad hoc arbitrations. His experience includes disputes arising from construction and infrastructure projects, EPC and EPCF contracts, energy projects, corporate and shareholders’ arrangements, commercial contracts, and intellectual property and technology matters.
He has also received appointments as arbitrator in disputes involving construction delays, trademark licensing and shareholders’ agreements. His experience as counsel and his appointments as arbitrator are distinct, and he does not describe his ICC or ACIC counsel work as institutional arbitrator experience.
Before joining Rezvanian International, Kamyar served as Legal Manager at British American Tobacco Pars. Earlier, from 2017 to 2021, he was Senior Legal Counsel at the Tehran Regional Arbitration Centre (TRAC). At TRAC, he was involved in the administration of domestic and international arbitrations, tribunal support, procedural review, hearings and case management. He also contributed to the revision of the TRAC Arbitration Rules, the preparation of the TRAC Mediation Rules, and projects concerning the publication of arbitral awards.
Kamyar is admitted to practise in Iran and is a member of the Iranian Central Bar Association. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb).
He holds an LL.M. in International Commercial Law from Shahid Beheshti University and an LL.B. from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. He has written and co-authored publications concerning arbitration, commercial law and dispute resolution, including the Iran chapter of the Law Over Borders – Comparative Guide to Arbitration (2025 Edition), a globally recognized resource for practitioners and in-house counsel.
